This is one of those months where I could literally just post 10 pics of one sneaker because I am so focused on it.
This shoe is making me eat my words in so many ways:
- I usually don’t like women’s only releases. Most often they are just not as strong in terms of colour blocking compared with ‘men’s’ releases.
- I hate extended sizing on principle and tried to avoid buying shoes that come in extended sizing.
- I don’t love Jordan 1s that come in non-traditional materials (patent etc.)
- I dislike orange (why I never really pursued the original SBB)
And here I am compiling another long Google doc spreadsheet of raffle entries to try to get a pair of women’s, extended sizing, satin Jordan 1, in orange (‘starfish’). I can’t explain why I love these but I do! I guess I am just a hypocrite or victim of the hype.

Nike M2K Tekno – this released already in Europe but is hopefully still coming to Canada so I can extend my collection of bulky dad-shoes that everyone ha
Nike x Atmos Curry pack – Atmos is trying to kill my wallet. I like these both a lot and obviously have no choice but to get them. The other pack releasing is the Atmos “I love Nike” pack but I don’t really like those too much. Something about the all-over print puts me off.
