Well… it is finally Air Max month! My favourite sneaker month of the year and the month I seem to spend all my free time tracking down the shoes I have to get – yes, even more time than usual.
This time around I am going to (try to) stay focused. There are three primary sneakers I want and that I WILL get:
Do you see that BOX???? I also need every single piece of Atmos animal themed gear.
Atmos x Nike Air Max Beast pack. As I think everyone knows, I am a HUGE Atmos fan. I realize that this pack is slightly different than the original but it has a couple of advantages: one, it is wearable (the older version will soon need sole swaps) and two, I can maybe get my hands on both pairs for less than $3000! I want both, because Laize and I need to be cute and wear them at the same time.
I feel like March will be my month.
Sean Wotherspoon x Nike Air Max 97/1. Yes, this is hyped now. But wasn’t originally – lots of people disliked the corduroy, the hybrid, the colours and Wotherspoon himself (lots of people still dislike him). I loved this concept from day 1 and if you have read my previous blog post “A Lesson in Failure” you will know all about my challenges trying to secure a pair. Fingers crossed that this time I manage to get them!!!
Beyond these three pairs, here are some other sneakers I have my eyes on in March:
Big Bubble
Air Max 270. I need to try out this massive air bubble and this is my favourite colourway. It might have to wait a little bit though – the main three this month are going to take most of my time and budget.
Maybe???
Jordan 1 Off-White. It actually comes in women’s sizes! I have to give it a shot right? I was meh on this sneaker for so long… then I saw the purple laces and they turned into a must buy. Well, a must-try-to-buy anyway.
